As part of the Science Festival sponsored by the Municipality of Grugliasco, CISV presents “Se non la pianti…finisce“: an interactive and multimedia exhibition composed with photos, audio and video sustainable management of forests, leading visitors to discover the ‘best practice’ use of these resources.
It will open on 8th February and will last until the 15th February with guided tours for schools. Sunday and Saturday it will be opened for the cityzenship.
Besides the sections concerning Brazil, Burkina Faso, Cameroon, Chile, a new section will be launched: this one is devoted to Italy, with a review of “virtuous” practices : as in Trentino, where companies employ local forest-products and enhance the forest resources of the area (wood for construction, firewood, mushrooms, chestnuts etc..), creating jobs and development.
Viridea (Garden Center of Collegno) and C.R.F. – Riparazione Pallet Legno from Moncalieri are sponsor of the event: Viridea provided many green plants to recreate a “forest”, C.R.F provided pallets for the layout of the exhibition.
